Vancouver 2010 Olympics Rental Information

Thank you very much for your interest in Olympic Rates information. Below you find a summary of the rates offered by some of the Suites Vancouver properties. Rates may vary depending on the size, amenities and location of the individual suite.

• 50% of the total cost is required to secure a reservation.
• The remaining 50% is due no later than December 1, 2009 (if remained unpaid, it will be considered a cancellation).
• Money paid is NON-REFUNDABLE (unless using the "payment security" option below)

Guests will be required to pay a damage deposit fee prior to check-in. The damage deposit amount in set by each property owner, and is available by request.

Wire transfer to property owner's bank account, or to a Vancouver Law Firm to be held in a legal trust bank account. Please see below for more information. Payments made to individual property owners will be held in the property owners bank account and will collect interest as outlined in the Vancouver Tenancy Act (more information can be found at the Provincial Government web site: http://www.rto.gov.bc.ca/content/calculator/calculator.aspx ) The interest will collect to the benefit of the guest.

If there are concerns about payment security, guests may wish to consider an escrow service option using a Vancouver based law firm. Deposits, payments and interest (if applicable) can be held in a legal trust bank account, until the guest(s) arrive to commence their stay. The full rental payment is required to secure the reservation and not just 50%. An escrow agreement will be available for review and it will be subject to our cancellation Policy listed below.

The guest is responsible for the escrow legal fees, and will pay directly to the law firm:
For a simple trust-account (non-interest baring): CAD$ 500/year
For an interest baring trust-account (interest is paid to the guest): $1,000/year (due to a individual legal setup required per guest)

If using the "payment security" option below, cancellation before January 31, 2009 - 50% of money paid will be refunded.
If not using the "payment security" option below - moneys paid are NON-REFUNDABLE.
After January 31, 2009 - no refunds of any kind will be issued.
